Dance Beyond Time

Dance your Dream

Never forget your dreaming and dance in life. Remember when we were young, we danced until the morning star was gone. So full of hopes and plans. Everything was possible. We worked, played, travelled, fell in and out of love, had our hearts broken, mourned the loss and then picked ourselves up and moved on. Years came and went, some of our life went well and sometimes some of it didn’t. Yet as long as we could dance and dream, somehow even when we lost hope, we could step sideways, realign and continue on.

Yet how do so many of our troubled teenagers, middle aged wage slaves, worn out mums and aging pensioners lose their joy? What stops us dancing through life? How do we turn away from our youthful, joyful selves, full of verve and vivacity to being dragged down, anxious, depressed, fearful and unhappy?

By dropping our connection to what makes us happy and what has deep meaning to us results in disconnection and suffering. Carried away by our everyday life, we believe there is no time to become passionate again and follow what truly feeds our heart and soul. We may lose touch with our passion now and then but always dream it back into your life. The spark will return and support you through any problems. Never ever forget your long forgotten dreaming.

SCROLL_TEXT

Dance in the twilight world.

The myth of Persephone persists in perpetuity;
If we glance away from the grand opening of what we know.
This mystical, divine goddess is glimpsed
As she dances in the sunset glow.

Eating the food of death, the ruby pomegranate seeds banished her to the underworld.
If not visited, then spring cannot be sprung in all its fecund abundance.
Transformation gifts us its ability to live between the worlds.
The glittering intoxicants of love and destiny tempt us into bravery.

Dance alone with unseen spirits, unbeknown to God’s creation.
Their long red dresses pulling us along the swaying path of obliteration.
The Lord of Chaos plucking strings from above.
A million tears rip open mountains splitting the earth asunder.

Dance with our finishing, the reckoning settles all debts.
Ending our exhaustion and closing our worldly life.
The shape of our hearts still intact, if a little weary
Our dreams a little tattered, yet always still there.

Never turn away from the dance of life, no matter how deep your despair.
Never forget your long forgotten dreams.
Dance and dance again and remember at our last calling
The woman in red, beyond time and going everywhere.
